Impressive LeRoy Neiman Oil

This is one of Neiman’s larger and most impressive horse racing oils. It is in a high quality narrow frame that emphasizes the painting. It looks authentic and most viewers think it is. Neiman’s name also appears verso and there is an important Sofia Imber authentication certificate and inventory number verso from the Caracas Museum of Contemporary Art. The certificate is important because the museum, which Imber founded and led for some years, was known to have several Neimans and to have displayed this one until the museum was seized and looted by the revolutionary government.
